Is Nodding disease a parasitic worm infection with a viral skin infection setting off an autoimmune response?

Nodding disease is triggered by the parasitic worm and what virus? The IgG4 was found against leiomodin-1.  Nodding disease is autoimmune disease of the skin where the autoantigen attacks the brain?

Onchocerca volvulus causing epilepsy  or nodding disease?

autoimmune cross-targeting hypothesis: two infections on one tissue. The skin?

For these worms how does this work? The Leiomodin-1 autoantibody bound the worms.

When exposed to cold temperatures or food the children nod their heads uncontrollably. The hippocampus of the brain is responsible for body temperature sensations and hunger urges.

The worm is not in the hippocampus but the autoantibody shows up there.

Which virus at the skin has co-infected and caused the IgG4? Maybe HSV1?

HSV1 in africa
350 million women
355 million men

HSV1 in small children who suck on their fingers causes the infection of fingers "herpetic whitlow"

Nodding disease only affects children under the age of 15.  Is this because adults don't typically develop HSV1 outside of the mouth?

could it be molluscum contagiosum?
