Nodding disease, epilepsy, seizures....are they from autoimmune cross-targeting? a parasite with an enterovirus?

Autoimmune cross-targeting hypothesis: a virus marks the inside of a cell while an infection marks the outside and the combination triggers autoimmune disease.

If we say these diseases are autoimmune can we find the 2 infections for each:

nodding disease: Trypanosoma brucei and polio or live polio vaccine (an enterovirus)

epilepsy: t.gondii or t.cruzi or malaria and enteroviruses

RA seizures: polio/enterovirus and  mycoplasmas?

Polio, live polio vaccines and the African nodding disease? Are they causing cross-targeting triggering the nodding disease ? Is nodding disease autoimmune?  Enteroviruses infect and replicate in the hypothalamus.

Can we look for similar patterns with the parasite t.gondii?

What I am thinking: around 20% of the population has t.gondii but 20% do not have schizophrenia and 20% of babies do not have seizures so autoimmune cross-targeting might be occurring to set things off.  In the case of seizures...an enterovirus.

Is Myasthenia gravis an autoimmune disease caused by the cross-targeting of mycoplasmas and a virus that infects the thymus?? are there more cases of MG after D68 ?

Autoimmune cross-targeting hypothesis: that the layering of 2 infections on one target confuses the immune system into autoimmune attack. A virus marking the inside of the thymus and an infection like mycoplasmas marking the outside for myasthenia gravis

polio virus and thymus
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20368632

the d68 is a similar enterovirus...does it infect the thymus?

They were looking at enteroviruses as a diabetes trigger with a thymus connection for a while.
http://brainimmune.tumblr.com/post/65440027379/an-enterovirus-attacking-the-thymus-may-play-a-key but i believe only coxsackie has been connected.  I think it is the only enterovirus that infects the pancreas

this MG looked like the post-polio syndrome...but was it a real overlap by the virus?

Is this paralysis from the D68 enterovirus due to autoimmune cross-targeting? do the paralyzed kids without asthma have eczema?

A large number of the children who developed paralysis from the D68 entrovirus had asthma. Did the ones who didn't have asthma have eczema?
http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm6336a4.htm?s_cid=mm6336a4_w

the D68 virus was not found in the spinal region but are antibodies to the virus there? Is an autoimmune reaction causing the paralysis?
http://www.healthline.com/health-news/enterovirus-d68-likely-to-blame-paralysis-100114#1

note that a ten your old girl who died had a staph sepsis infection
http://www.providencejournal.com/news/health/20141001-update-10-year-cumberland-girl-who-died-of-sepsis-carried-enterovirus-tips-video.ece

The virus has not been found in spinal fluid and they are now looking for antibodies to the d68 virus. Other bacterial infections have not been found in the spinal fluid either.

Later a little 4 year old boy went to bed with pink eye and then woke up and died from d68...pink eye can be caused by staph

Rhode island child dies with a staph sepsis infection on top of the d68 virus
http://www.foxnews.com/health/2014/10/01/rhode-island-child-dies-after-contracting-enterovirus-68-other-infection/

We have seen an overlap of eczema and a different entrovirus in the past:

eczema which I think is staph and the entrovirus called coxsackie
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23776120
http://www.pediatricsconsultant360.com/article/22-month-old-child-atypical-enteroviral-exanthem

Donald Leung of national jewish has isolated staph from eczema but there which came first seems to be disputable.  staph makes a pigment with egg and milk which seems to correlate with the sensitivity of eczema to those allergens.  Highly suspicious to me.

Could a similar overlap be occurring with D68?
Could the paralysis be an autoimmune reaction from cross-targeting of these infections on the nervous system?

Autoimmune cross-targeting hypothesis: that the layering of 2 infections on one target confuses the immune system into autoimmune attack.  A viral infection marks the inside and something marks the outside of the nerves like the staph.

Note that on previous posts I had MS associated with the chickenpox virus which travels in nerves with mycobacterias or staph....  either one marking the outside of the nerves. Different autoimmune diseases because of the difference in viruses??????  Is this paralysis from D68 autoimmune?

the MRI of several children showed gray matter inflammation along the spinal cord which could be a bacterial or is it the d68 infection????...staph?????

spinal infection and staph
http://www.wjes.org/content/4/1/31

Extra notes:  Polio which is a similar enterovirus does not cause paralysis in every person infected. In fact most people do not develop paralysis....less than one percent do.   those who do get paralysis have a 50% chance to develop a post-polio syndrome which appears to be autoimmune in nature.  Does this mean that polio paralysis functions in a similar manner? striking paralysis only in those with a staph infection at the same time?

Parkinsonism, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and cross-targeting autoimmunity?

Autoimmune cross-targeting hypothesis: that the layering of 2 infections on one target confuses the immune system into autoimmune attack.  A viral infection like the flu H1N1 marks the inside and something marks the outside of the nerves in Parkinsonisms.

I have regular parkinson's associated with psoriasis, a mycobacteria, and a flu virus on previous posts.
The flu virus could be the same one.

H1N1 has triggered so many autoimmune reactions it is always at the top of the list.

Gluten how does it alter the immune system during a barrier breaking infection????

What does gluten do if it is not a serpin inhibiting the dimorphic changes in infections?  This blog will attempt to contemplate some possibilities.

Gluten appears with barrier breaking infections:
e.coli
strep
candida
t.gondii
sutterella
mycobacterias

These infections break through barriers but how does gluten makes the situation worse?

How similar is the intestinal and the blood brain barrier's immune system? Nature does conserve what works.....
